  • •1 scoop (about 30 g) whey or plant protein, vanilla or chocolate
  • •Three quarter cup (180 ml) milk or curd, or a mix of both
  • •1 tbsp chia seeds
  • •1 tsp peanut butter
  • •A handful of berries or half a sliced banana
  • •A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Method

  1. 1.Add the oats, protein, chia and cinnamon to a jar or bowl and give it a quick dry mix.
  2. 2.Pour in the milk or curd and stir well until there are no dry pockets.
  3. 3.Top with the peanut butter and fruit, cover, and refrigerate overnight, at least 6 hours.
  4. 4.In the morning, stir once and eat cold, or add a splash of milk if you like it looser. No heating needed.

Coach’s note

Make two or three jars at once on your prep night. A ready breakfast in the fridge is the difference between hitting your protein and grabbing whatever is fastest.
