1. Who we are

FitCodeLab is an online fitness coaching service operated by Shwetang. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data we collect

Contact details you provide when you apply or register (name, email, phone). Health and fitness data you log as part of coaching (body weight, training, nutrition, water, sleep, energy, measurements). Progress photos you choose to upload. Basic usage data needed to run the app.

3. How we use it

To deliver your coaching: build and adjust your plans, review your check-ins and photos, track progress, and communicate with you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Consent

We process your data based on your consent and to provide the coaching service you signed up for. You can withdraw consent by closing your account.

5. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the Service: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email). If weekly AI summaries are enabled, anonymized coaching data may be processed by an AI provider to generate them. WhatsApp may be used for communication at your initiative. These providers process data only to provide their services to us.

6. Security

Your data is protected by database row-level security so that your records are accessible only to you and your coach. Data is encrypted in transit. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.

7. Your progress photos

Progress photos are treated as sensitive. They are stored privately and are visible only to you and your coach. They are never made public or shared without your explicit consent.

8. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion at any time.

9. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
