About your coach
I’m Shwetang Chikankar. I coach a few people properly, instead of many people barely.
FitCodeLab isn’t a content library or an app pretending to care. It’s one coach, a small roster, and the kind of attention that actually makes you show up. You might also know me as Noctergy on Instagram.
My story, the untidy version
I’m not someone who woke up one day and decided to call himself a coach. I started underweight, around 45 kg. Over the years I built up to 60, then 80, then crossed 90. I’ve been through muscle-building phases, phases where I gained too much fat, and I’ve dieted back down more than once before finally seeing the lean physique I once assumed wasn’t for me.
For five years I worked night shifts. So when I talk about training around a body clock that’s always slightly off, eating well when your schedule is upside down, and protecting sleep while a demanding job pulls at you, I’m not speaking from theory. I’ve also been vegetarian through my entire fitness journey, so I know firsthand that you can build muscle and lose fat on Indian vegetarian food without making eating complicated or joyless.
I didn’t stop at my own experience. I’ve spent years studying nutrition and food science, habit formation, body composition, recovery, and training principles, because I’m genuinely fascinated by how lasting change comes from practical, livable adjustments rather than extremes. When you tell me you’re tired, stuck, or starting over again, I’m not judging from the outside.
A small roster
I only take a handful of clients at a time. That’s the whole point: you get attention, not a queue position.
Accountability, not surveillance
Daily check-ins and weekly reviews exist so I notice early when something slips, and we fix it together.
Sustainable by design
Plans that bend around your life. We’re building habits that last years, not a crash that lasts weeks.
The honest version of why clients stay
Most people don’t fail for lack of willpower. They fail because no one’s holding them accountable, the plan doesn’t fit their life, and the feedback loop is too slow to catch a bad week before it becomes a bad month. So I built the opposite: every client gets a plan shaped to their schedule and equipment, checks in daily (it takes under a minute), and I read every one. The results are public on the results page: 57 kg lost across 7 clients, including 17 kg by a client on rotating night shifts.
