Mango Protein Mousse

Thick Greek yogurt whipped with ripe mango and vanilla whey. Tastes like aamras cheesecake, logs 24 g of protein.

Ingredients

  • 150 g plain Greek yogurt (or hung curd)
  • 1/2 scoop (15 g) vanilla or unflavoured whey
  • 100 g ripe mango, cubed (plus a few cubes to top)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, if the mango is tart)
  • Pinch of cardamom

Method

  1. 1.Blend half the mango into a puree.
  2. 2.Whisk the yogurt with the whey until completely smooth, then fold in the puree and cardamom.
  3. 3.Layer into a glass with the remaining mango cubes on top.
  4. 4.Chill for 15 minutes if you can wait. It sets thicker.

Coach’s note

Off mango season, swap in banana or strawberries. The yogurt-whey base works with any fruit.
