Besan Chilla with Hung Curd
Savory gram-flour pancakes with a thick curd side. Fully vegetarian, no eggs, no whey, still 24 g of protein.

Ingredients
- •80 g besan (gram flour)
- •1 small onion + 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- •Coriander, green chilli, 1/4 tsp ajwain, salt
- •Water to make a pourable batter
- •1 tsp oil for the pan
- •150 g hung curd or Greek yogurt on the side
Method
- 1.Whisk the besan with water into a smooth, pourable batter. Stir in the vegetables and spices.
- 2.Heat a nonstick pan with a little oil. Pour a ladle of batter and spread thin like a dosa.
- 3.Cook 2 minutes per side until golden. Makes 2 to 3 chillas.
- 4.Serve with the hung curd. Salt and chilli the curd if you like.
