A thick chocolate pudding made with chia seeds, milk and chocolate whey, set overnight and topped with banana. Tastes like a treat, eats like a meal.

Ingredients

  • •30 g chia seeds (3 tbsp)
  • •300 ml toned milk
  • •1 scoop (30 g) chocolate whey protein
  • •10 g unsweetened cocoa powder (2 tsp)
  • •1 small banana (100 g), sliced
  • •Pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. 1.Whisk the whey and cocoa with a splash of milk into a smooth paste.
  2. 2.Whisk in the rest of the milk, then the chia seeds and cinnamon.
  3. 3.Rest 10 minutes and whisk again so the seeds do not clump.
  4. 4.Divide into 2 jars and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours.
  5. 5.Top with banana slices before eating.

Coach’s note

The second whisk after 10 minutes is the step everyone skips, and it is the difference between a smooth pudding and a jar with a chia lump at the bottom.
